New guides

New tools and features

  • What will this casino offer cost me?: put two or three casino offers on any of nine lines side by side and see what each leaves you paying in total, per night and per person.
  • All tools: every finder, calculator and comparison on the site in one place, grouped by the question it answers.
  • Ship casinos: a "Sails from" filter shows the ships sailing from a 2026 homeport.
  • Cruise line pages: each of the 10 line pages now has a Common questions section, answered from the facts on that page.
  • Slot library: game pages can show only the ships sailing from a port you choose, with a link you can share.
  • Ship pages: a "Casino at a glance" box on 163 ship casino profiles.
  • Celebrity offer tools: each offer sailing now shows the casino facts for its ship.
  • Status-match summary in your dashboard: your saved tiers, recent casino cruises and play by line on one page, to print or copy for a casino host.
  • Is the next tier worth it?: the points, play, expected loss and time the next tier takes before the program year ends.
  • Year summary in your casino log: a year's sessions totaled by cruise, line and game, to download as a spreadsheet or print.
  • Compare ship casinos: two or three ships' casinos side by side, with a link you can share.
  • Video poker pay-table checker: a Jacks or Better machine's return, what an hour costs at your bet and what each casino point costs on your line.

Corrections

  • On the Margaritaville at Sea page: the status match dates from the April 2025 relaunch, not September 2026; Match My Offer takes casino status as well as offers; Gold and Platinum bingo cards added; and the smoking note now says Margaritaville's ticket contract mentions designated casino spaces, while its FAQ says outdoors only.
  • We no longer say Celebrity counts casino points per sailing, because Celebrity doesn't publish how play is counted toward an offer level. Our Celebrity offer tools now say they assume one sailing's points, and Casino offers compared says the counting isn't published.
  • We updated MSC details from MSC's own pages on the MSC page and in several guides: the MSC row in the true-cost guide, the deposit and free-drinks wording, and that service charges are added daily on US bookings.
  • We corrected Virgin Voyages' casino drinks, match and deposit wording to follow Virgin's September 10, 2026 terms, on the Virgin Voyages page and in the free drinks and casino matches guides.
  • We corrected the Princess page to use Princess's published Sea You Soon chart, and its smoking rules to follow Princess's casino FAQ, also on the Princess ship pages.
  • We corrected the Holland America page: Westerdam's casino details are marked as reported, Rotterdam's casino is described as refreshed, the word Holland America's release uses, and Prestige is by invitation.
  • We corrected the convenience fee for charging casino play to your SeaPass on the Royal Caribbean page: Royal Caribbean doesn't publish the amount, so we removed a reported per-transfer figure.
  • We corrected the end-of-cruise comps guide: the reported 7,000 to 10,000 Carnival points a cruise are for shipwide Drinks On Us, not free cabins.
  • We corrected Carnival's Fun Match in the casino matches guide: it covers you and one guest, with onboard credit of up to $200 per cabin.
  • We corrected the true-cost guide: Norwegian does publish the points needed for a free fare.
  • We corrected the Celebrity page: the convenience fee for charging play to your SeaPass is waived from Amethyst up.
  • We corrected the Carnival page: since February 9, 2026, there's no service fee for casino play charged to Sail & Sign at tables or the cashier.
  • We corrected the Royal Caribbean page: you must be 21 by the departure date to use a casino cruise offer.
  • We corrected the cruise lines directory: nine of the ten lines we cover have a casino rewards program; Explora Journeys doesn't.
  • We corrected the Norwegian page to say what its tier table shows: onboard credit of up to $1,000 at higher tiers.
  • We corrected the ship directory count to 169 ships.

Improvements

  • Phones: pages fit narrow screens without sideways scrolling, form fields no longer zoom in on iPhone, selects and footer links are easier to tap, and the menu button no longer shrinks on the smallest screens.
  • Phones load smaller copies of the photos on ship and slot pages.
  • We fixed source links that had stopped working: moved pages are relinked, and citations that are gone point to archived copies or are marked as no longer online. See how information is researched.
  • Accessibility: underlined links in text, scrolling tables you can reach with the keyboard, and clearer headings and labels across the site, including the program comparison table and the Celebrity offer tools.

How fresh is our data

Every guide, cruise line page and ship profile lists its sources with the date each was published or accessed, and shows a "Last checked" date. Here's where things stand.
