Royal Caribbean casino offers, explained
Club Royale sends casino offers by email, by mail and as certificates at the end of a sailing. Here's how to read the official offer document, what "cruise fare for 1 guest" and "for 2 guests" mean, the booking rules, and what you still pay.
Every Club Royale offer has a code, and Royal Caribbean publishes a document for each code that lists every sailing it covers: ship, departure port, date, itinerary, stateroom category, whether the cruise fare is covered for one guest or two, and any next-cruise FreePlay and onboard credit. Only the cruise fare is covered. You still pay taxes, fees and port expenses for everyone in the cabin, gratuities, and on "fare for 1 guest" offers a reduced fare for the second guest.
Book before the book-by date on your offer. A free-stateroom offer can't be combined with any other offer, and Royal Caribbean can change or withdraw offers at any time. Check the official terms before you book.
Terms with a dotted underline are explained when you tap or select them.
How offers arrive
Royal Caribbean's casino offer terms name three ways an offer reaches you: an email, a "home invitation" sent by mail, or an Instant Cruise Reward (An offer given on board at the end of a sailing, based on the points you earned on that sailing. It comes as an Instant Reward Certificate (IRC).) given on board. The offer is for the player it's addressed to, called the Recipient.
- EmailHas a "Book Now" link that opens your offer on royalcaribbean.com.
- MailHas a QR code you scan to open the same offer online.
- My OffersAt RoyalCaribbean.com/MyOffers, click "My Offers", then the casino offer coupon, to see the sailings it covers. Online booking is for North American recipients; everyone else books by phone, through a travel advisor or through an independent casino representative.
- On boardInstant Reward Certificates are handed out at the end of a sailing. See instant certificates below.
- ClubRoyaleOffers.comRoyal Caribbean's Club Royale FAQ still says to check tier status and offers at Clubroyaleoffers.com, but that address didn't load when we tried it on October 21, 2026. The current offer terms point to RoyalCaribbean.com/MyOffers instead.
To keep getting offers, your email address, mailing address and marketing permissions need to be current with Royal Caribbean. Our casino accounts guide covers updating your details and duplicate accounts.
Reading an offer document
Royal Caribbean publishes the sailing list for each offer code as a PDF on royalcaribbean.com, at royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/pdf/casino/offers/ followed by the code and ".pdf". We read two of them on October 21, 2026: offer 2608A06 (19 pages, 1,121 sailings) and offer 2610C04 (20 pages, 1,214 sailings). Each row is one sailing you can book with that offer.
Here is one row from offer 2610C04, re-set as a list so you can see what each column means.
| Column | Example | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Offer Code | 2610C04 | The code on your email or mailer. Every row in the document repeats it. |
| Ship | Jewel of the Seas | The ship. Our ship casino profiles show how big each casino is. |
| Departure Port | Fort Lauderdale, Florida | Where the cruise starts. Travel to the port isn't included. |
| Sail Date | September 27, 2027 | The departure date. The offer covers only the dates listed. |
| Itinerary | 4 Night Perfect Day Cococay & Bahamas | Length and route. The number of nights drives your gratuities. |
| Stateroom Type | Balcony - GTY | The cabin category the offer covers. See GTY below. |
| Offer Type | Cruise Fare For 1 Guest | Whose cruise fare is covered: one guest or two. See offer types. |
| Next Cruise Bonus | $250 FreePlay | A bonus listed for that sailing. The document doesn't say how you qualify for it, so ask Club Royale before counting on it. |
| Next Cruise OBC | $50 | Onboard credit (Money added to your cruise account to spend on board, for example on drinks, dining or the spa. It usually can't be withdrawn as cash.) listed for that sailing, with the same caveat. |
One code, mixed rows
A single offer code isn't one deal. In 2608A06, 754 rows were "Cruise Fare For 1 Guest" and 367 were "Cruise Fare For 2 Guests", across interior, oceanview and balcony cabins, and the bonus amounts varied by sailing. Read the row for the exact sailing you want.
What the document leaves out
We found no book-by date and no fares in either document. The book-by date is on the offer itself (email, mailer or certificate). Each page ends with the reservation center's phone numbers and a range of taxes and fees (see what you still pay).
Royal Caribbean doesn't explain how codes are built. In the codes we checked, the first four digits look like a year and month (2610 for October 2026), and different codes carried very different cabins: 2610A01 listed Junior and Grand Suites for two guests with $1,500 next-cruise FreePlay, while 2610C04 listed oceanview and balcony guarantees with $250. That's our reading, not an official key, so judge an offer by its rows, not its code.
Offer types
Royal Caribbean's casino offer terms describe these kinds of offer. Players often call the first two "room for two" and "room for one".
| Offer | What the terms say you get | What's different |
|---|---|---|
| Stateroom Offer ("Cruise fare for 2 guests") | Complimentary cruise fare for you and one guest in the same stateroom, based on double occupancy, when you pay the taxes and fees. | Not combinable with any other offer. |
| Discount Stateroom Offer ("Cruise fare for 1 guest") | Complimentary cruise fare for you, plus a casino discount rate for one guest in the same stateroom, in select categories. | If you sail alone in a double-occupancy cabin, you pay the second guest's fare at the casino discount rate. Not available for single-occupancy staterooms. |
| Dollars Off Offer | The dollar amount on the offer, taken off the price of a sailing departing before the offer's date. | Can be combined with in-market and other offers. |
| FreePlay | Promotional slot credit on your SeaPass account, or promotional table chips from the casino cashier. | Must be used by the final night of the sailing. No cash value, and play with it earns no tier credits or reward points. |
The PDFs' footers put the two main types in plain words: "Cruise fare for 2, just pay taxes and fees" or "Cruise fare for 1, pay reduced cruise fare for guest 2 and pay taxes and fees for all." Neither document lists what the reduced fare for guest 2 is; you see it when you price the sailing.
Interior, balcony and suites
Each row names one cabin category. In the documents we read, the categories were Interior, Oceanview, Balcony, Junior Suite and Grand Suite.
- "GTY"Many rows end in "- GTY", such as "Interior - GTY". The document doesn't define it. We read it as a guarantee (A booking in a cabin category without choosing the cabin. The line picks the actual cabin later.) cabin, which matches the terms: unless a stateroom is assigned when you redeem, it's assigned before you board.
- Only the listed categoryOn royalcaribbean.com, any stateroom not included in the casino offer is priced as a full cruise fare cabin.
- UpgradesOnly a Club Royale representative, a travel advisor or an independent casino representative can apply an upgrade. The terms list upgrades among the costs the offer doesn't cover, and the documents don't show upgrade prices.
- AvailabilityAll casino offers are subject to stateroom availability and casino capacity limits, so a listed sailing can still be unavailable when you try to book.
Booking rules and expiry
These come from the general terms that apply to every Royal Caribbean casino offer (version CasinoRoyale250910).
- Book-by dateEach offer must be booked before its book-by date and covers sailings departing before a stated date. Both dates are on the offer communication.
- New, individual bookingsOffers apply only to new individual bookings, not group bookings or charters.
- You must be on itThe Recipient must be the primary guest on the reservation and at least 21 on the departure date. Club Royale membership starts at 18, but casino offers need 21.
- NontransferableOffers can't be sold or reassigned and have no cash value, except trade-in value or dollars off where that applies.
- Pay in full to confirmTaxes, fees, port expenses and any extra fare must be paid in full before you get a stateroom confirmation.
- ChangesChanges or cancellations may cost you the offer.
- No-showsIf you didn't check in at the pier, or cancelled a stateroom offer two days or less before sailing, in the 12 months before a new booking, a $200 per-stateroom deposit applies to stateroom offers. The terms say you get a matching refundable $200 onboard credit on that sailing, and that a cancellation charge of $200 per stateroom applies if you cancel within seven days of departure.
- Play, or risk future offersRoyal Caribbean can withhold future offers for inactivity or lower play, and may remove a Recipient who redeems an offer and doesn't play.
The phone hours differ between documents: the terms say the US and Canada line is open 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern on weekends, while the PDFs say 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call 1-888-561-2234 on a weekday if you can.
Combining offers
- Free-stateroom offers"Not combinable with any other offer."
- Dollars-off offers"Combinable with in-market offers and other offers."
- Overlapping datesEach booking must have its own sailing window. If you hold more than one booking with any of the same sailing dates, Royal Caribbean may cancel the one that departs latest.
- Back-to-back sailingsThe terms don't mention back-to-backs beyond the overlapping-dates rule. Ask Club Royale before booking two offers on consecutive sailings.
- Your cabin-mate's pointsPlayers in the same stateroom can't combine points toward Instant Cruise Rewards, according to Royal Caribbean's benefits table.
Independent tools such as the Comp Royale browser extension and the MyCasinoPromotions dashboard reformat a Club Royale offer list into a sortable table, and both offer back-to-back views. Comp Royale says it isn't affiliated with Royal Caribbean; MyCasinoPromotions doesn't say either way. We haven't tested them, and what they show is not an offer: book from Royal Caribbean's own list.
Instant certificates and tier benefits
Two Royal Caribbean casino rewards look like offers but work differently.
Instant Reward Certificates
An Instant Cruise Reward is worked out from your play on the sailing you're on and given at the end of the voyage as an Instant Reward Certificate (IRC). The same casino offer terms apply. If you redeem it with a NextCruise booking, Royal Caribbean says you get casino-specific benefits instead of the usual NextCruise savings: an onboard credit offer, and upgrades or FreePlay depending on your award level, as printed on the certificate. To use both, make a Book Later reservation on board, then contact the casino team within 30 days of receiving the certificate.
The annual tier cruise
Prime, Signature and Masters members also get one cruise a year as a tier benefit. It isn't an offer you earn from recent play, and it has its own rules and sailing list. Royal Caribbean's benefits table says it's for select sailings of up to 7 nights, you pay taxes and fees, and you must book and sail by March 31, 2027.
What you still pay
The terms list what casino offers don't include: "taxes, fees and port expenses, online booking processing fee, if applicable, gratuities, applicable fuel surcharges, upgrades, additional cruise fare, if applicable, additional guests, additional staterooms, air and ground transfers, and onboard expenses." Taxes and fees apply to each guest.
| Cost | Official figure | Where it's from |
|---|---|---|
| Taxes, fees and port expenses | "Just pay between $34.00 and $371.18 in taxes and fees" (2610C04); "between $28.00 and $371.18" (2608A06). Subject to change; the cost per person is confirmed when you book. | Offer PDFs, read Oct 21, 2026 |
| Gratuities (if not prepaid) | $18.50 per guest per day in non-suite cabins; $21.00 per guest per day in suites. You can adjust or remove them at Guest Relations before the morning you get off. | Royal Caribbean gratuities FAQ, Oct 21, 2026 |
| Gratuities on purchases | 18% on drinks and drink packages, specialty dining, room service and minibar; 20% on spa and salon. | Same FAQ |
| Second guest on "fare for 1" | The casino discount rate. Not published; shown when you price the sailing. | Offer terms |
Worked example: the 4-night balcony row above
Two guests, 4 nights, a balcony (not a suite), gratuities not prepaid: 2 × 4 × $18.50 = $148 in daily gratuities. Add taxes and fees for both guests, the second guest's reduced fare (it's a "fare for 1" row), and whatever you spend on board. This is our arithmetic from the official rate; the taxes and the second fare are only known when you book.
Residents of Germany, Austria and Switzerland have taxes and fees included in stateroom offers, according to the terms. The offers also don't change how much you're likely to lose playing to earn the next one; see the economics of casino cruises and the math behind casino games.
Before you book
- Find your rowOpen the document for your code and find the exact ship, date and cabin you want. Check whether it says fare for 1 guest or 2.
- Note the book-by dateIt's on your email, mailer or certificate, not in the document.
- Price the extrasTaxes and fees for everyone, the second guest's fare if it's a "fare for 1" row, and gratuities by the night.
- Check your calendarDon't hold two bookings with overlapping dates.
- Ask about bonusesConfirm with Club Royale how the next-cruise FreePlay and onboard credit in your row are delivered.
- Keep recordsSave the offer, your confirmation and, after the cruise, a win/loss statement for your taxes.
An offer has no value until you sail, and the cruise you take to use it can cost more in casino play than the offer is worth. Set a budget before you board.
