MSC Cruises casinos
MSC is Europe's biggest cruise line and is growing fast in the US. Its casino rewards work one cruise at a time: points from a sailing unlock offers, and they don't carry over to the next one.

On the casino floor
MSC says its fleet has more than 2,000 slot machines with fixed and progressive jackpots (A jackpot that keeps growing as people play the linked games, until someone wins it.), plus blackjack, baccarat and roulette. Craps is only on selected US-based ships. Casinos go by different names on different ships, such as the Signature Casino on MSC World America.
Sports betting
Playtech self-service sports betting launched in September 2025 on seven ships, including MSC World America, Seascape and Seashore. Bets go on your onboard account.
Table jackpots
In August 2026, MSC added progressive jackpots to 30 blackjack tables across seven US-based ships.
Ocean Cay
MSC says its casinos stay open while the ship is at Ocean Cay, its private island in the Bahamas.
Dream Points
MSC's site says slot play earns Dream Points on your cruise card but doesn't publish the rules. The details below come from URComped, a casino-offer service that interviewed MSC's US casino marketing team. Points count per sailing and don't carry over.
How you earn
- Slots and video poker: 1 point per $3 played (reported)
- Table games: rated by casino staff (Play the casino records against your account so it earns points. At tables, staff note your average bet and how long you play.)
- Points beyond a free-cruise level add $50 in free play (Promotional casino credit for the machines. The credit itself can't be cashed out, but what you win with it can.) per extra 1,000 points (reported)
Wynn Rewards and status match
Since February 2026, MSC has been Wynn Rewards' exclusive cruise partner. Wynn Platinum members can get an ocean-view cruise of up to 10 nights plus $100 free play, Wynn Black members an Aurea Suite plus $200 free play, and the top Chairman's Club tier gets MSC Yacht Club. MSC's Voyagers Club status-match form also accepts cards from casinos including MGM Resorts, Mohegan Sun, Resorts, Rivers and Wynn.

Points needed in a single sailing, as reported by URComped (2026). MSC hasn't published these numbers. Reported comp cruises (Given free by the casino because of your play. “Comp” is short for complimentary.) need a deposit of a few hundred dollars that's returned as onboard or casino credit, and reports disagree on the amount ($400 or $500).

Good to know before you play
- HoursMSC doesn't publish hours. Casinos generally open once the ship is in international waters.
- PayingEverything goes on your cruise card. MSC's US casino team told URComped there's no added fee for gaming charged to your account, with a $50,000 daily limit. Cash advances (A card charge your bank treats like a cash withdrawal. Many card issuers add a fee and charge interest straight away.) need a registered credit card and carry a fee that varies by itinerary.
- CurrencyEuros in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Gulf. US dollars in the Caribbean, Bermuda, North America and Asia. Pounds on Southampton departures.
- Age18 and over, or 21 and over in Alaska (MSC Guest Conduct Policy, June 2026).
- SmokingMSC's FAQ allows seated players to smoke in casinos during opening hours, but several ships made their main floors smoke-free in 2024 and kept separate smoking rooms. Check your ship.
