Celebrity casino offers, explained

Blue Chip Club members get casino cruise offers from a list Celebrity publishes each month, grouped by points level. Here's how to find your level and offer code, who sails on the offer, the booking rules, and what you still pay.

Short answer

Each month Celebrity posts an index of offer codes, one per points level (from 600 to 40,000 points on the October 2026 list), and a sailing list for each code: ship, date, port, itinerary, stateroom type, whether the cruise fare is covered for one guest or two, and any next-cruise bonus. Only the cruise fare is covered. You still pay taxes, fees and port expenses for everyone in the cabin, gratuities, and on "fare for 1" rows a reduced fare for the second guest.

You must be at least 21 on the departure date and the primary guest on the booking, and you must book before the book-by date on your offer. A stateroom offer can't be combined with any other offer. Check Celebrity's casino offer terms before you book.

Terms with a dotted underline are explained when you tap or select them.

The monthly offer list

Celebrity publishes its casino offers as PDFs on celebritycruises.com. For October 2026 there is a one-page index (code 2610) and one sailing list per offer code. Each code is labeled with a points level.

  • The indexThe October 2026 index lists twelve codes, from 261009 at 600 points to 2610VIP2 at 40,000 points, each linking to its sailing list.
  • The sailing listEach row is one sailing you can book with that code. The columns are Offer Code, Ship, Sail Date, Departure Port, Itinerary, Stateroom Type, Offer Type ("Cruise Fare For 1 Guest" or "For 2 Guests") and Future Cruise Vacations Bonus, such as "$150 FreePlay".
  • Taxes on the pageEach page ends with a range of taxes and fees for that code. The 2,000-point list (261005) says "Just pay between $95 and $494 in taxes and fees" and that the cost per person is confirmed when you book.
  • What's missingWe found no book-by date and no fares in the documents we read. The book-by date is on your offer itself.

We track every list in the Celebrity offer tools, so we don't repeat the data here. The offer calculator shows what each level's sailings are worth next to the expected cost of earning it, what more play buys compares the steps between levels, and the release tracker shows when each list came out and which sailings tend to disappear. How we value offers is under how the numbers work.

Finding your level and offer code

Celebrity's casino offer terms say an offer is for the qualified player named in the email, the home invitation or the Instant Cruise Reward, with "verifiable ratings". That player is the Recipient.

  • Your offer codeIt's on the email or mailer. Match it to the same code on the monthly index to open the sailing list for your level.
  • OnlineThe "View my offers" link on Celebrity's Blue Chip Club page goes to a sign-in page, which warns that your account email "may be different from the email you receive casino communications."
  • How points map to a levelCelebrity labels each code with a points number but doesn't publish how your play is counted toward it. The level on your offer is the one to use. Our method notes explain what we assume.
  • Your account numberBlue Chip uses your Captain's Club number, according to the program terms. Duplicate accounts are merged.
  • Not getting offersCelebrity's casino FAQ says to keep your marketing permissions on and your email current, and to call Casino Reservations at 1-866-461-7170 to update them. Our casino accounts guide has more.

Offer levels are not the same as your Blue Chip tier. Tiers (Pearl through Ruby) come from Tier Credits earned August 1 to July 31; see Blue Chip Club tiers and benefits. The grid lists "exclusive casino offers" for every tier.

Who sails on the offer

The terms describe two kinds of cabin offer. The sailing list tells you which one applies to each row.

OfferWhat the terms say you getThe second guest
Stateroom Offer ("Cruise Fare For 2 Guests")Complimentary cruise fare for you and one guest in the same stateroom, based on double occupancy, when you pay the taxes and fees.Sails on the offer. Pays taxes and fees.
Discount Stateroom Offer ("Cruise Fare For 1 Guest")Complimentary cruise fare for you, and a casino discount rate for one guest in the same stateroom, in select categories.Pays the casino discount rate plus taxes and fees. If you sail alone in a double cabin, you pay that second fare yourself. Not available for single-occupancy staterooms.

Celebrity doesn't publish the casino discount rate; you see it when you price the sailing. Third and fourth guests aren't covered: the terms list "additional guests" among the costs you pay. On the October 2026 lists, every row from 3,000 points up was fare for 2, while the lower levels mixed both kinds (the 600-point list was fare for 1 only).

Stateroom categories

Each row names one stateroom class. On the October 2026 lists, higher levels carried better cabins.

Points level (Oct 2026)Stateroom types on the list
600 to 2,000Interior
3,000 to 6,500Oceanview, and Veranda from 4,000
9,000Mostly Concierge, some Oceanview and Veranda
15,000 to 40,000AquaClass, then Sky Suite (40,000 was Sky Suite only)
  • Cabin assignmentUnless a stateroom is assigned when you redeem, Celebrity assigns it before embarkation, according to the terms.
  • UpgradesThe terms list upgrades among the costs the offer doesn't cover, and the lists don't show upgrade prices.
  • AvailabilityAll casino offers are subject to stateroom availability and casino capacity limits, so a listed sailing can still be full when you call.

The mix changes every month. The offer ladder shows the current cabin mix by level.

Booking rules and expiry

These come from the general terms for every Celebrity casino offer (version BlueChipClub250917).

  • Book-by dateEach offer must be booked before its book-by date and covers sailings departing before a second stated date. Both dates are on the offer communication, not on the sailing list.
  • New, individual bookingsOffers apply only to new individual bookings, not group bookings or charters.
  • You must be on itThe Recipient must be the primary guest on the reservation.
  • NontransferableOffers can't be sold or reassigned and have no cash value, except trade-in value or dollars off where that applies.
  • Pay in full to confirmTaxes, fees, port expenses and any extra fare must be paid in full before you get a stateroom confirmation. Reservations follow Celebrity's deposit and cancellation policy, and changes or cancellations may cost you the offer.
  • No-showsIf you didn't check in at the pier, or cancelled a stateroom offer two days or less before sailing, in the 12 months before a new booking, a $200 per-stateroom deposit applies to stateroom offers. The terms say you get a matching refundable $200 onboard credit on that sailing, and a $200 per-stateroom cancellation charge if you cancel within seven days of departure.
  • How to bookOffers not booked online are redeemed by calling a Celebrity Casino Representative at 1-866-461-7170 (Monday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern, per the terms), or through a travel advisor or an independent casino representative.
  • Play, or risk future offersCelebrity can withhold future offers for inactivity or lower play, and may remove a Recipient who redeems an offer and doesn't play.

Offers "may be withdrawn at any time." The release tracker shows how often a sailing was still on the same level's list the next month.

Combining offers

  • Stateroom offers"Not combinable with any other offer."
  • Dollars-off offers"Combinable with in-market offers and other offers."
  • Overlapping dates"Qualified Sailings must have unique sailing windows." If you hold more than one booking with any of the same dates, Celebrity may cancel the one that departs latest.
  • Back-to-back sailingsTwo offers back to back share a turnaround day, so ask the casino team before booking. Our back-to-back planner also pairs an offer with a paid cruise, which avoids the question.
  • Cruise loyalty pointsCelebrity's casino FAQ says you earn Captain's Club points on eligible casino sailings "on select promotions."
  • Tier benefitsTier perks such as Effy credit and the spa discount have their own "not combinable" rules in the Blue Chip benefit notes.

Booking through a travel agent? Agency perks may not apply to a stateroom offer; see booking a casino offer through a travel agent.

Instant Cruise Rewards and the annual cruise

Two Celebrity casino rewards look like monthly offers but work differently.

Instant Cruise Rewards

The Blue Chip benefits grid lists an "Instant Cruise Rewards Certificate with bonus FreePlay" for every tier. Its footnote says it's based on gaming activity during the current sailing, and guests in the same room may not combine points toward it. The casino offer terms cover Stateroom and Dollars Off Instant Cruise Rewards under the same rules as other offers. Celebrity doesn't publish the chart.

How end-of-cruise comps are worked out →

The annual cruise

Amethyst and higher tiers get an "Annual Cruise courtesy of Blue Chip Club" as a tier benefit: Inside for Amethyst, Veranda for Sapphire, Concierge for Sapphire Plus and AquaClass for Ruby. It's for select ships and sailings, one per year based on double occupancy, you pay taxes and fees, and you must book and sail by July 31, 2027.

Blue Chip Club tiers and benefits →

Reward Points are separate again: you redeem them on the sailing where you earn them, for FreePlay or (from 10,000 points) onboard credit, and they expire at the end of each sailing.

FreePlay

Many rows on the sailing lists carry a Future Cruise Vacations Bonus in FreePlay. The terms say how FreePlay works.

  • How you get itAs promotional slot credit on your SeaPass account, or promotional table chips from the Cashiers Desk.
  • Use it on boardAll FreePlay must be used by the final night of the sailing.
  • No cash valueSlot credits can't be cashed out and you may have to play them in full. Chips stay in play until a losing hand and can't be used for contra bets on roulette, craps or baccarat.
  • No pointsPlay with FreePlay earns no Tier Credits or Reward Points.

The lists don't say how the bonus reaches you, so confirm it with the casino team when you book. Our offer calculator can count FreePlay at the video poker return.

Status match and age

  • No public Blue Chip matchWe found no Celebrity page that offers a casino status match into Blue Chip Club. The program terms do say management "reserves the right to grant tier status in accordance with any Blue Chip tier match program," but no such program is published. Our matches guide covers the alternatives, including independent hosts.
  • Club Royale doesn't carry overCelebrity's casino FAQ says Club Royale and Blue Chip Club "do not offer reciprocal benefits or status," even though both are Royal Caribbean Group lines.
  • 21 for offersThe Recipient must be at least 21 on the departure date.
  • 18 to playBlue Chip membership and casino play start at 18 (21 on Alaska voyages), according to the program terms and FAQ. An 18-year-old member can earn points but can't redeem a casino offer until 21.

What you still pay

The terms list what casino offers don't include: "taxes, fees and port expenses, online booking processing fee, if applicable, gratuities, applicable fuel surcharges, upgrades, additional cruise fare, if applicable, additional guests, additional staterooms, air and ground transfers, and onboard expenses." Taxes and fees apply to each guest.

Worked example: two guests, 7 nights, interior

With gratuities not prepaid: 2 × 7 × $19.50 = $273 in daily gratuities. Add taxes and fees for both guests, the second guest's reduced fare if it's a "fare for 1" row, and whatever you spend on board. This is our arithmetic from the official rate. Our true-cost guide works through a real 2,000-point sailing, taxes included.

Residents of Germany, Austria and Switzerland have taxes and fees included in stateroom offers, according to the terms. The offers also don't change how much you're likely to lose playing to earn the next one; see the cost of play and the math behind casino games.

Before you book

  • Find your rowOpen the list for the code on your offer and find the exact ship, date and stateroom type. Check whether it says fare for 1 guest or 2.
  • Note the book-by dateIt's on your email, mailer or certificate, not on the list.
  • Price the extrasTaxes and fees for everyone, the second guest's fare on a "fare for 1" row, and gratuities by the night.
  • Check your calendarDon't hold two casino bookings with overlapping dates.
  • Ask about the bonusConfirm with the casino team how the FreePlay in your row is delivered.
  • Keep recordsSave the offer, your confirmation and, after the cruise, a win/loss statement for your taxes.

An offer has no value until you sail, and the cruise you take to use it can cost more in casino play than the offer is worth. Set a budget before you board.
