Land casino partnerships
Four big land-casino programs give their members cruise perks: Caesars with Norwegian, MGM and Hard Rock with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, and Wynn with MSC. Each one links up differently, and getting the link wrong is the usual reason a benefit doesn't show up.
Four land-casino programs give their members cruise perks: Caesars Rewards with Norwegian, MGM Rewards and Hard Rock Unity with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, and Wynn Rewards with MSC. None of them merges your accounts, and only MGM also lets you earn land-casino credit while you play at sea.
Most benefits that fail to show up come down to the link: use the same name everywhere, quote your partner number when you book, and book through the channel each partner requires.

The four big partnerships
None of these merges your accounts. Your land-casino status unlocks a benefit on the cruise line, and only MGM also lets you earn land-casino credit while you play at sea.

Smaller links exist too. Delaware North's Lucky North Rewards announced cruise offers with Carnival in May 2025, Rivers Casino's rewards program announced an MSC benefit in 2023 (we couldn't confirm it's still running), and one blogger reports Ocean Casino Resort status unlocking a Virgin Voyages offer. Caesars Rewards and Norwegian
The discount depends on your Caesars tier and the cabin you book. It covers the cruise fare only, on select sailings, and can't be combined with other offers. You still pay admin fees, taxes and port fees.

- Don't move it to a travel agentOne blogger moved a Casinos At Sea booking to an agent and lost the 20% Caesars discount, casino drinks and priority check-in. Reported
MGM Rewards and Royal Caribbean or Celebrity
MGM is the only partnership that works in both directions: your MGM tier earns cruise perks, and your cruise casino play earns MGM credit.
Yearly cruise by MGM tier
- Gold: oceanview up to 5 nights, or up to $750 toward a cruise
- Platinum: balcony up to 7 nights, or up to $1,500
- NOIR: junior suite up to 10 nights, or up to $3,000
Free play on board runs from $25 (Sapphire) to $200 (NOIR), but only on cruises booked with an MGM loyalty offer, certificate offer or group cruise.
Earning MGM credit at sea
- Give your MGM Rewards number when you book.
- Book an MGM offer, certificate or group cruise. A regular booking doesn't qualify.
- Play with your SeaPass card on board.
- Tier Credits and points post to MGM within 30 days of the cruise.
We found no official way to add an MGM number after booking or in the app, so confirm it's on the reservation before you sail.
Matched status doesn't count
Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Emerald members and above can match into MGM Gold, but the MGM cruise perks are only for members who earned their tier. On Celebrity, MGM and Captain's Club onboard benefits reportedly don't combine. Sources disagree on whether MGM's older onboard credit still exists alongside the free play, so check MGM's partner page.
Hard Rock Unity and Wynn Rewards
Hard Rock Unity
The stateroom discount covers inside cabins up to junior suites on Royal Caribbean and up to AquaClass on Celebrity, with no yearly limit but one tier discount per cabin. Book by February 28, 2027. You must be 21+, an active member and the primary guest.
Link your Unity number in your casino account, or call Club Royale (1-844-917-1567) or Blue Chip (1-855-401-4678). The terms say these offers can't be booked through a travel agent. Points and tier credits don't move between Hard Rock and the cruise programs.
Wynn Rewards
Wynn moved its cruise partnership from Holland America to MSC on February 1, 2026. Activate the benefit in your Wynn account (web or app). AwardWallet's tester got pricing by email a few days later, with 48 hours to pay.
Compare prices before you book: that test saved 18.1%, not the advertised 30%. A reader reports the discount only applies to the fare, not port fees or taxes. Reported
Linking checklist
Based on the partners' and cruise lines' terms. Most failed benefits come down to one of these.
- Use the same name everywhereRoyal Caribbean and Celebrity require the offer recipient to be the primary guest, and Holland America requires the booking name and Mariner ID to match the invited member. Use the same legal name, date of birth and email on the casino account and the cruise profile.
- Quote the number when you bookMGM onboard earning depends on the MGM number being on the booking. Caesars rates are booked by phone with your Caesars number.
- Check the booking channelHard Rock's terms say its offers must be booked through the casino reservation centers, although the same page also mentions online requests. NCL casino rates go through Casinos At Sea or an independent casino host.
- Expect separate accountsYour casino points don't merge. MGM earning is a booking-level link, not a merged account, and Hard Rock points never transfer.
- Read what stacksCaesars–NCL rates don't combine with other offers. On Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, a Stateroom Offer doesn't combine with other offers, but a Dollars Off offer can combine with in-market deals.
- Watch the datesMGM credits post within 30 days of the cruise. Hard Rock premium discounts are usually bookable within 30 days of a tier upgrade. Wynn's annual benefit has request-by and sail-by dates, and Caesars Seven Stars cruises must be completed by January 31, 2027.
