How it plays. This is Light & Wonder's persistence-style update of WMS's old Jade Monkey theme. Each of the five reels has its own prize above it, made of credits and banked free games. Diamonds landing on a reel count toward that prize, and the third diamond pays it out. More on how it plays

How Jade Monkey Deluxe plays
How it plays
Credit symbols on reels 2 and 4 add to the prize above them, and free-game symbols add eight free games at a time, up to 80 per reel. The jade monkey is the risk: it takes away a collected diamond, and if there are none left it resets that reel's prize. A monkey on the middle reel also clears the banked free games.
Features
- Separate, persistent prize above each of the five reels
- Diamonds count toward each prize; three pay it out
- Prize amounts show silver at reset and yellow once they have grown
- Free games bank in groups of eight, up to 80
- The original Jade Monkey is a different game: three monkeys start a pick round that sets free spins, wilds and a multiplier

Tips from players and reviewers
- A yellow prize above a reel has grown past its reset value, which means the last player left something behind (Machine Pro Club).
- Expect resets. A monkey can wipe a large prize, and the guide calls the game high variance and advises cashing out once the setup stops looking favourable.
- Players commenting on Slotarazzi say the monkey often takes diamonds and free games just as they build up. Several preferred the original Jade Monkey.
Tips can't change the odds of any spin. They help you pick a bet level and a machine.

Prizes you can see building up attract casual players and advantage players alike, and Jade Monkey Deluxe gets regular coverage from slot YouTubers and in a paid advantage-play guide. No hard performance data was found.
