How Press Your Luck plays

How it plays

Press Your Luck symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 start the main bonus, a hold-and-respin round on the Big Board: you get three spins, each new square you fill adds spins, and unlike on TV the Whammies help, because filling the board unlocks extra Whammy prizes and chances at the progressives. A Big Bucks symbol on reel 5 spins a wheel that stretches across the bank's monitors for 1,100 to 20,000 credits times the bet multiplier. Breaking the piggy bank leads to the Whammy Wheel, which can award up to two progressives. Whammy Bucks shows credit prizes in the base game, while Whammy Wilds adds multipliers of up to 4x.

Features

  • Hold-and-respin Big Board bonus where Whammies raise the payout
  • Filling the board unlocks extra Whammy prizes and progressive chances
  • Big Bucks wheel across the whole bank: 1,100-20,000 credits times the bet multiplier
  • Whammy Wheel from the piggy bank: up to two progressives
  • Whammy Wilds: multipliers up to 4x; Whammy Bucks: credit symbols in the base game
  • Money Maker version: max bet unlocks Whammy upgrades (up to 5x) and the Whammy Wheel, plus a respin on zero or losing spins

Tips from players and reviewers

  • On Whammy Riches the wide-area progressive is only offered on the 1¢ version (Everi spec sheet).
  • On Whammy Bucks and Whammy Wilds the progressives are available at any bet level, so max bet is not required to be eligible (Everi).
  • On the mechanical Money Maker Press Your Luck, the Whammy Wheel and Whammy upgrades need max bet (Everi spec sheet).

Tips can't change the odds of any spin. They help you pick a bet level and a machine.
